New Natural Gas resources found in Sui

Quetta—The long-delayed two-dimension survey to explore new natural gas deposits in Sui area of Dera Bugti district has been completed confirming heavy gas deposits in the area.

Inspector General Balochistan Frontier Corps Major General Obaidullah Khattak told media that he two-dimension survey in Kharan desert and Barkhan has also been completed and exploitation of newly discovered natural resources in these areas will soon be launched.

He said Behloal and Duki coal fields have resumed production creating innumerable job opportunities for the local youth besides generating substantial revenue for the government due to the FC efforts to restore peace.

He said establishment of a medical centre in Duki, construction of a hostel at Loralai accommodating 100 students and 960 scholarships for students from Duki by Balochistan FC amply substantiate the fact that the FC not only contribute in maintaining peace but also generously patronize programmes benefiting the people of the province. He also announced to ensure medical treatment to two minor boys Farhan and Sher Khan who got seriously injured in a landmine explosion in Babar Tak area of Bakhan district on March 17 last.

The government would welcome Khan of Kalat to return home,” Major General Khattak assured. He rejected any military operation in any part of the province including Dera Bugti district.
