Turbat grid station's capacity doubled for Rs55mn




QUETTA: Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has doubled the capacity of Turbat grid station at a cost of Rs 55 million.

Qesco sources told APP here Tuesday that the project had been completed with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) under which 10/13 MV power transformer at Turbat grid station was replaced with 20/26 MVA.

The installation of new power transformer will not only ensure stable power voltage to the local consumers but also overcome load shedding problem in the area.

The Company has completed uplift schemes worth Rs 2 billion in the power sector of the province in collaboration with ADB during the last two years.
