Islamabad—Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has approved the appointment by transfer of Mr. Haider Ali Shikoh (BCS/BPS-20) and Mr. Umar Khan Babar (BCS/BPS-20), officers of Government of Balochistan, in the Federal .
It may be recalled that the President of Pakistan promulgated an ordinance on October 1st, 2012 for appointment by transfer of regular Provincial Civil Service Officers in the Secretariat Group as senior Joint Secretary or Additional Secretary (BPS-21) in accordance with the specified criteria set out in the Ordinance.
As induction of the officers of the Government of Balochistan is a one time option meant for enhancement of representation of officers of G Balochistan at the federal level and the fact that the Ordinance is going to lapse on January 28, 2013, the Prime Minister has approved the appointments by transfer of two officers. — NNI .
