Punjab govt donates Rs 100m for Balochistan quake victims

CM Punjab With CM Balochistan In Awaran

QUETTA (Online): Punjab Government has donated 100 million rupees to the Prime Minister\'s Balochistan Earthquake Relief Fund.

While, all the cabinet members of Punjab and PML-N MPAs have donated one month salary to the relief fund. Following the earthquake affectees, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif made the announcement of donation while addressing joint press conference with CM Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here on Friday.

CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that the whole nation, Prime Minister and Punjab government are with the people of Balochistan and would fully support their earthquake affectees of Balochistan.

He further said that they came to express solidarity with victims of quake and offered prayer for their good health. He extended full sympathy to the survivors of the quake on the behalf of the people and the civil servants.

Shahbaz Sharif also promised to give jobs to all graduates of Awaran in Punjab province. On the occasion, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan appreciated the relief work done by army personnel and provincial administration after quake in Awaran. He said that the federal government would extend its full support to the province of Balochistan.
