Rs22.2m for Balochistan quake survivors from Punjab

LAHORE: A sum Rs 22.2 million was presented to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on behalf of the eminent figures of the province as donation for the Balochistan quake affectees.

A senior leader of PML-N Saleem Saif Ullah Khan gave a cheque for Rs. 10 million on behalf of Saif Group, Chairman Flour Mills Association Founder Group Bilal Sufi Rs 2.7 million, MI Khurram Rs 2.5 million on behalf of Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Commissioner Rawalpindi Rs 5.5 million on behalf of various personalities of the city, Meezan Bank Rs two million, Shahid Hussain Rs one million on behalf of Service Sale Cooperation Limited, Sadiq Saleem Rs eight lakh on behalf of Crescent Textile Mills Limited, prominent social worker of Okara Mian Rashid Rs. five lakh, Waseem Ahmed Mehmood Rs one lakh on behalf of Shezan International, while Member National Assembly from Bahawalpur Begum Sabia Nazir presented a cheque for Rs 50,000 each.–Staff Reporter
