Ufone’s Free 3G Service Reaches Quetta

Ufone has announced the availability of free 3G service in Quetta, making it the 10th city in the country to have Ufone’s 3G service.

In compliance to the Information Memorandum, all cellular mobile operators had to spread their 3G services in 10 cities in a span of 1 year but Ufone has achieved this target only in 35 days.

Speaking of this facility, Mr. Taimur Faiz Cheema, GM Marketing at Ufone, said “Ufone right now is the only service provider that is giving maximum number of cities and with the fastest speed and best network quality. Needless to say, customers have a lot to look forward to as 3G will completely change the way customers interact and socialize. We have more exciting plans of expansion and will be introducing this service far and wide across Pakistan with the same pace.”

All Ufone customers using a 3G enabled smartphone in Quetta, will be able to enjoy the trial services with amazing speeds free of cost, whereby the first 200 MB will be usable without any speed throttling, after that for subsequent usage, speed will be reduced to 128 kbps for the rest of the day followed by a related SMS notification.
