6 new universities‚ 3 medical colleges to be set up in Balochistan : Dr Malik


The Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Maalik Baloch has said that 6 new universities and 3 medical colleges would be established in the province and the incumbent government is determined to bring improvement in education sector.

Addressing an educational festival organized by an NGO in Quetta‚ he said that we want students to get modern education and compete with the developed world.

The Chief Minister said that the government would utilize all available resources to improve quality of education and impart modern education to the students so that they could play their constructive role in the development of the province and country.

CM said that we are striving to make Balochistan the hub of intellectuals and educationists once again. He said that extremism‚ suicide attacks and illiteracy can be fought through power of knowledge.

The Chief Minister said the provincial government is paying special attention on education and health sectors.
He added that the syllabus in the varsities would be rationalized in accordance with the requirements of modern time
